Painting of the Gurdwara building is has been completed. Thanks to Lalee Sandhu for undertaking this job at almost half the price quoted by some other professional painters. Apart from painting, he has repaired the ceiling & roof as well.
It has been observed that it is taking very long to make chapati’s and many ladies miss out on attending religious ceremonies. We now cook approximately 70kg of Atta for normal Langar. Accordingly, SAWA has imported a chapati making machine from Sehgal Exports in Patiala, Punjab. The machine has a capacity of making 2,500 rotis per hour. The gas section of the machine is being modified and installed as per Australian Standards by Complete Combustion Company. Exhaust Canopy has been installed in compliance with the requirements of Australian Standards AS
1668.2 – 1191. All electrical section, conveyor Motor etc are fully operational.
The machine will work on LPG cylinder. There will be 100% spare capacity. Gas section will have Flame failure
detection and cut off valves for stopping the gas supply. The gas will be supplied by Kleenheat.
Hopefully it will be commissioned by Vaisakhi.
The whole car park has been sealed now. The marking of bays to identify the parking areas and the curbing has also been completed. Thanks to Kanwaljit Singh for coordinating.
